I am passionate about lots of different photography genres from landscape and long exposure to street, whether it's in colour or black and white using both digital cameras or old SLR's with film. I believe if you like what you see then take an image and try not to conform to lots of boring photography traditional do's and don'ts rules.

 

I am mostly a self taught photographer but back in the day I studied photography as a chosen school subject which at the time was all film, I learnt how to not only use a camera correctly but also how to develop film and make prints in a darkroom.

Sadly I drifted away from photography when I left school and had to get a real job !

I rediscovered it again about five years ago and haven't look back since, its been a steep learning curve with all the changes I've missed but thankfully I am a quick learner.

My biggest joy has been the rekindling of my love of using real film there's just something about it and thankfully now due to the modern digital camera I can even scan my negatives straight in to Lightroom.

 

Over the coming years I hope to expand my knowledge further and to even try and sell a few prints here and there!
